Kino - "I Don't Know Why" (audio)

Δελτίο τύπου: «13 years after its 2005 debut album "Picture", Kino finally returns! While focusing on accessible and diverse song craft, 2018’s "Radio Voltaire" impresses with a vast amount of diverse arrangements and moods, making it a perfect, timeless melodic prog rock album. Featuring John Mitchell (Lonely Robot, It Bites, Arena, Frost*), Pete Trewavas (Marillion), Craig Blundell (Frost*, Steven Wilson) and John Beck of It Bites as a special guest on keyboards. "Radio Voltaire" will be released on March 23rd, 2018 as Special Edition CD digipak (incl. bonus tracks), Jewelcase CD (incl. bonus tracks / US only), Gatefold 2LP+CD, digital album!»

Band members:
Tracii Guns
Philip Lewis
Michael Grant
Shane Fitzgibbon
Johnny Martin

Δελτίο τύπου: «After more than a decade apart, Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis reunited under the L.A. Guns' banner and in 2017, released arguably one of the most critically praised album of their extensive catalog, "The Missing Peace".

Landing at #12 Top Record Label Independent Current Albums, #17 Top Current Rock Albums, and #47 Top Current Albums on the Billboard charts in the U.S., plus numerous international charts, clearly the most important critics, the fans, agreed with the consensus of how truly great their new studio album is.

With a new found energy and the enthusiasm of the then imminent release of "The Missing Peace", L.A. Guns stormed onto the stage in Milan, IT and took absolutely no prisoners, packing the set front to back with stone cold classics and soon to be classics.

This current incarnation of the band has been touring non-stop and the cohesiveness of the unit, not to mention Phil’s stunning and unique vocals and Guns’ mind-bending guitar playing, are on full display here. A must hear and listen for all fans of the band, both new and old school!»

Lance Lopez: «"Down To One Bar" is the tragically funny story of how drinking never worked out very well for me! It always started out as a great party and then ended badly. What seemed like good times and lots of fun was not always that way. Today I am able to look back and tell the truth about how my partying usually ended up in Down To One Bar.»

Δελτίο τύπου: «Texas six string legend Lance Lopez is set to unleash his long-awaited new solo album, Tell The Truth, March 2nd 2018 on Mascot Label Group. Tell The Truth is an autobiographical tour-de-force through the life and times of an archetypal Texas blues legend with all the highs and lows that inevitably accompany this time honored path. Lance Lopez has been on a slow, steady climb up the mountain to the blues rock hall of heavyweights for the last decade, and this album declares his arrival.

Tell The Truth is the record on which Lance Lopez finally defines his solo sound - there’s loads of his famous hard-edged gritty guitars, but there’s also a powerful full band sound on every track with throbbing bass lines, sumptuous piano and organ, wicked blues harp, thunderous drums, and Lopez’s industrial strength vocals across the whole of this outstanding songset. Above all, Tell The Truth is a working class blues rock record.»

Δελτίο τύπου: «Monster Magnet put the pedal to the metal with "Mindfucker", their tenth record. In terms of power driven Stoner Rock these gentlemen from New Jersey belong to the measure of all things. But "Mindfucker" is different, a step forward and a step back at the same time to the almighty roots of beat music.

Dave manipulates his guitar with rich virility and the drive of his shifty soul. Wyndorf seeks and finds: Timeless songs, kindled by the unpretentious Proto-punk era. "Mindfucker" pumps and scratches at every turn! Dave fires off piercing calls over neckbreaking guitar work and whirlwinds of psychedelic solos.

All things are in constant motion with a sound of groovy straightforwardness, always heading for the essence of "the" song. "Why you gonna fuck with my head?", screams Wyndorf their credo in the title track. Up tempo, savage in both sound and spirit, "Mindfucker" is the real deal!»
