Currently available on eBay, this memento of the band’s tumultuous 1977 tour, marred by Roger Water’s dissatisfaction with the rock n’ roll lifestyle which inspired the concept album The Wall. The shirt’s full body design, which incorporates graphics from the Animals albums, is rare for concert shirts of this era.

Suicidal Tendencies Hand Drawn Button Up Shirt

A genuine piece of hardcore punk history, this button up shirt bears the logo of the infamous Venice, CA crossover band. It was hand drawn by esteemed skateboard artist Ric Clayton A.K.A. RxCx, and appeared in the artwork of the band’s groundbreaking 1983 debut album. It showed up on eBay several years ago though it’s ultimate fate is unknown.

Not an actual concert t-shirt, but one worn by members of the touring crew, this shirt was issued to employees of Dallas, Texas’ Showco sound equipment company. Employees did sound for the guitar smashing British foursome’s 1976 US tour and it is currently on sale on eBay.

Led Zeppelin Knebworth Backstage Pass Shirt, 1979

Another Knebworth shirt, this ultra-rare tee commemorated the legendary English hard rock band’s final UK shows before the death of drummer John Bonham and were given out to friends of the band for entry to Zeppelin’s concert after-party. It was put up for auction by someone who had bought it from the original screen printing company and sold on eBay in 2011.

Kurt Cobain’s Sonic Youth T-Shirt From 1994

Some shirts are rare because of the band or event they memorialize and others because of the people who wore them. This shirt of the New York noise rockers was famously sported by deceased Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain at one of his final concerts in 1994 and was sold by London’s Bonhams auction house.
