Ο 62άχρονος θρυλικός κιθαρίστας εμφανίσθηκε πέρυσι στο Wacken Open Air Festival και απέδωσε "ζωντανά" μία σειρά από κλασικά τραγούδια των Scorpions στο πλαίσιο της προώθησης του album "Scorpions Revisited" που κυκλοφόρησε τον Φεβρουάριο της ίδιας χρονιάς (2015). Σε ραδιοφωνικό σταθμό της Γερμανίας (SWR 1) φιλοξενήθηκαν στα τέλη του περασμένου μήνα δύο μέλη των Europe: ο Joey Tempest και ο John Norum, οι οποίοι έδωσαν ένα live ακουστικό σετ. Δείτε τους και ακούστε τους στην εκτέλεση του "The Final Countdown" (το σκότωσαν!!!) και στην διασκευή του "Holiday" των Scorpions (αυτό τουλάχιστον "ακούγεται")...
Για την καινούρια συλλογή που ετοιμάζονται να επανακυκλοφορήσουν οι "Σκορπιοί" με επανεκτελέσεις των γνωστών τους επιτυχιών είστε ενήμεροι. Στην Γαλλική έκδοση του δίσκου θα υπάρχει τούτη η version του "Still lovinh you". Μαζί με τον ερωτοτραγουδιάρη τραγουδά και η Amandine Bourgeois. Ακούστε δείγμα...
Έχεις γεμίσει την αγορά με συλλογές και κάθε είδους best of που μπορεί να συλλάβει και ο πιο σατανικός εγκέφαλος. Μα ο τραπεζικός λογαριασμός στέρεψε. Τι κάνεις; Πως να ξεζουμίσεις περαιτέρω ένα ήδη ξεζουμισμένο προϊόν; Πόσα λεφτά να σου δώσουν ακόμη τα δύσμοιρα τραγούδια-hit; Έλα το βρήκα!!! Θα τα ξαναηχογραφήσω να τα ξαναγοράσουν τα κορόιδα (εεε, οι φαν εννοούσα!)!!!
Ο Pawel Maciwoda (μπασίστας των SCORPIONS), ανακοίνωσε σε συνέντευξη στην Πολωνική τηλεόραση ότι οι SCORPIONS θα μπούνε στο στούντιο για να ηχογραφήσουν μία συλλογή με κλασικά τους κομμάτια. Το cd αναμένεται αρχές του 2012. Το χέρι στην τσέπη γρήγορα. Άντε βγάλε το πορτοφόλι, μη διστάζεις. Οι σκορπιοί (η οποίοι απ' τα 80ies και μετά είναι εμπορικό προϊόν κι όχι καλλιτέχνες) σ' έχουν ανάγκη...
Χθες μιλούσαμε για την επανασύνδεση των The Cars. Όσοι μεγάλωσαν στα 80ies πιθανότατα θα θυμούνται την πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία "Drive". Το τραγούδι αυτό διασκεύασαν ακουστικά σε μία όμορφη εκτέλεση οι Scorpions στο ζωντανά ηχογραφημένο άλμπουμ "Acoustica" του 2001. Ακούστε το:
Πω, πω "φλασιά" που έφαγα!!! Από κάτι άσχετες σκέψεις μου ήρθε συνειρμικά στο μυαλό η εικόνα των Scorpions να διασκευάζουν ... Μαρινέλλα!!! Εσείς οι νεότεροι θα λέτε τώρα «και μετά ξύπνησες» ή «το άλλο με τον Τοτό το ξέρεις;» μα βλέπω τους λιγάκι παλαιότερους να χαμογελούν πονηρά.
Για να θυμούνται οι παλιοί και να μαθαίνουν οι νέοι, οι Scorpions στην συναυλία τους το 1990 στην Ελλάδα τραγούδησαν Μαρινέλλα και ξεσήκωσαν τα πλήθη. Για την ακρίβεια διασκεύασαν το "Θα 'θελα να ήσουν ( Αγάπη μου )" σε στίχους Νίκου Βρεττού και μουσική Γιώργου Χατζηνάσιου. Ακόμη να πεισθείτε; Δείτε το:
