Οι Black Country Communion δημιουργήθηκαν το 2009 από τον Glenn Hughes και τον Joe Bonamassa υπό την καθοδήγηση του Kevin Shirley. Την μπάντα συμπλήρωσαν ο Derek Sherinian και ο Jason Bonham. Super group κανονικό. Μετά από τρεις δίσκους διαλύθηκαν το 2013 μετά την αποχώρηση του Bonamassa. Επανασυνδέθηκαν όμως πρόπερσι (με την αρχική σύνθεση). Ο δισκογραφικός καρπός της επιστροφής φέρει τον "BCCIV" και κυκλοφόρησε τον περασμένο Σεπτέμβριο...
